Launch Master

MDR Pro Series Launch Masters suitable for the following bikes:

• Yamaha YZ 125 250 (04-ON)
• Yamaha YZF 250 450 (04-ON)

Made from anodised CNC machined 6061t6 aluminium and steel, which lowers and locks the front suspension to prevent the front wheel from lifting due to acceleration. The launch masters hinged design eliminates the need to remove the fork leg allowing it to be fitted in minutes. Laser etched MDR logo and colour anodised for that factory look.

The launch master device consists of a holder with a spring loaded button on the guard of the bikes forks and a metal collar, located on the yoke. To activate the device, the rider simply compresses the front forks enough to manually engage the button in the metal collar without it jumping out. This shifts the centre of gravity, the front of the bike is much lower, the aim is to rise up the front at the start, the rider can control his machine better and apply full throttle for longer, once the forks are compressed for the first time after starting, under braking or when riding over bumps e.g. the button automatically releases from the metal collar and is pulled back into the motorcycles forks guard preventing it from accidentally re-engaging.
