VHM are always looking to see that motocross and enduro bikes are the best they can be,while track testing with the Honda CRF250 and CRF450 they found while racing the clutch would change its bite point.

The research into this found the cranks expansion when heated up expands enough for the standard steel clutch shaft which does not expand at the same rate would be to short.

The answer is to make a rod from alloy and to steel tip each end to give the required resistance to wear.

This part will ensure your clutch lasts as long as it can under the conditions.

The standard clutch lever expands less while driving than the rest of the engine, resulting in a bad performing clutch. The VHM clutch axle is made from hard anodized steel and the middle of the axle is made from aluminium. Therefore, this clutch axle will expand and shrink approximately the same as the rest of the engine. This means that whatever the engine temperature is, the clutch lever will keep working perfectly.
